How much does wallpaper installation cost?
Installation is priced to the project, not the square foot, because no two projects are alike. As a general point of reference, labour typically begins in the $5–$15 per square foot range, though the nature of the work often moves well beyond that. The wallpaper itself, the condition of your walls, ceiling height, pattern intricacy, and whether removal is required all shape what a project truly demands. We believe a proper quote should reflect your space specifically, not a formula applied to someone else's. We're happy to assess your project and provide a detailed proposal so you know exactly what to expect.
Do you remove old wallpaper before installing new?
Yes. We offer professional wallpaper removal as a standalone service and as part of a full installation project. Proper removal and wall preparation are critical to a quality result, we never install over poorly prepared surfaces.
How long does wallpaper installation take?
A standard bedroom typically takes one to two days. Larger spaces, complex patterns, or specialty materials like grasscloth or murals may take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline during your consultation so you can plan accordingly.
Do you install peel-and-stick wallpaper?
We don't work with peel-and-stick wallpaper. Our work is focused exclusively on traditional wallcoverings, materials that are installed properly, built to last, and worthy of the spaces we work in. If you're considering a permanent installation with a quality product, we'd love to talk.
Can wallpaper be installed in bathrooms or high-humidity spaces?
Absolutely. Many wallpapers are suitable for bathrooms and humid environments, particularly vinyl-coated, Type II commercial wallpapers, and certain grasscloth products. We'll advise on the right material for your specific space during the design consultation.
Do you work with wallpaper I've already purchased?
Yes. If you've already selected and purchased your wallpaper, we're happy to provide installation only. We recommend confirming with us before you buy to ensure you have the right quantity and the material is suitable for your walls.
Do you work with interior designers and architects?
Absolutely, a significant portion of our work comes through designer and architect partnerships. We understand project timelines, trade relationships, and the importance of showing up on-site ready to execute. We're happy to discuss trade pricing and collaboration.
